Why businesses overpay
Your utility delivers the power. A supplier sets the price. Most businesses never shop the second part.
Delivery vs. supply
AEP Texas owns the wires and charges TDU delivery fees no matter what. The energy itself is sold by a retail supplier, and that rate is negotiable.
Lock it before it rolls
When a contract ends without a renewal, most suppliers move you to a month-to-month holdover rate that can run 30–70% above market. We track your end date so that never happens.
Zero cost to you
We're compensated by whichever supplier wins your business, through the contracted rate. There's no invoice from us and nothing out of pocket. If you don't switch, you owe nothing.

We run the market
We request pricing from the retail suppliers licensed in your territory, compare fixed, indexed, and blended products, and strip out the ones with hidden bandwidth or minimum-usage penalties.
You pick, we handle the switch
You get a side-by-side comparison of the best offers. Choose one and we handle the paperwork and enrollment. Your lights never flicker.

Questions
Straight answers.
What does an energy broker cost?
Nothing out of pocket. We're compensated by the supplier you choose, through the contracted energy rate. If you don't switch, you don't pay anything.
Will switching suppliers interrupt my power?
No. Your poles, wires, and meter stay with AEP Texas (or your local utility) and they still respond to outages. Only the company that sells you the electricity changes, and the switch happens on paper on your chosen start date.
I'm already under contract. Is it too early?
Usually the opposite. Suppliers will price a contract up to 12 months before your current one ends, so you can lock a rate while the market is favorable and have it start the day your old one expires. Send us your end date and we'll tell you when to move.
What do you need from me to get a quote?
A recent electricity bill is ideal because it shows your ESI ID, usage, and current contract end date. If you don't have one handy, your service ZIP code and rough monthly spend is enough to start.
Do you work with businesses outside Corpus Christi?
Yes. We're based in Corpus Christi and know the AEP Texas Central territory best, but we broker in every deregulated ERCOT market: Oncor, CenterPoint, TNMP, and AEP Texas North. Multi-site businesses with meters in several territories are a specialty.
